Position Summary

The Managing Director Manpower Operations is a proven sales and operations professional and a senior leader whose energy, focus and determination are matched by well-developed sales and leadership skills. He will manage his business over the segments Enterprise, Convenience, Onsite (nationwide) to meet goals in unit revenue, gross profit and profitable growth.
The Managing Director will be focusing on both, building teams across the country and growing the business, while maintaining a high standard of internal processes and compliance.
The Managing Director will show a hands-on attitude to keep things running and knows the staffing, services and solutions market in-depth. He has the full P&L and brand responsibility. This includes the adaption of the global strategy for the German market and driving the execution in the country. The Managing Director is part of the Country Leadership Team, an international corporate network and ensures close international and local cooperation.

The Managing Director can be located in Frankfurt am Main (preferably) or nationwide.

Your role

  • Responsibility for the execution of the go to market strategy and it’s segmentation (enterprise, convenience, onsite)
  • Full P&L responsibility
  • Responsible for business development, profitable growth, sales and delivery in the staffing units as well as active sales on C-Level
  • Create market value through seizing opportunities through market insights and generate innovative workforce solutions for the dedicated business
  • Managing a nationwide “branch” structure (retail comparable) by constantly improving branches also with the increasing “share” of digitization in the business and driving these changes
  • Accelerate performance by enabling profitability and growth
  • Drive operational excellence by using dedicated tools
  • Analysis of potentials in the operative business, development of profitable opportunities and definition of appropriate measures in cooperation with the sales and solutions department
  • Analysis and continuous development of the current processes of the business concept, also from a digitization point of view in close collaboration with the international colleagues
  • Develop new business opportunities for existing and new clients and candidates
  • Planning, control and monitoring of sales and recruiting activities
  • Recognize market trends and develop and implement appropriate measures in the “world of work”
  • Ensure valuable leadership according to the leadership success model
  • Ensuring compliance with legal principles (labor law, AÜG, AGB, Tariff agreements, contracts with customers)

Your profile

  • Several Years of professional experience of sales and operations experience in professional services (staffing industry)
  • A strong “track record” in building sustainable business (profitable growth)
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to work and operate in matrixed organizations combined with a proven track record in coaching and managing high performance and management teams through transformations
  • Ability to develop talents in a talent critical / shortage market environment
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) and employ these skills to interact with a variety of stakeholders (international and local)
  • Multi industry and multi-function required
  • Exceptional understanding of the services and solutions market in various industries
  • Earned authority to deal with and manage senior stakeholders to challenge the status quo
  • High level of openness, honesty, integrity and trust with the capabilities of Learnability, Drive, Adaptability and Endurance
  • Fluency in written/spoken English and German
